What’s your MOOD for June?
June has always been a fascinating month to me. Not quite Summer – but too warm for Spring, which always throws off my fashion game. The days are getting longer. As a career mom I’m still just as tired, but end up staying up later – ending up more tired! There are some super bright days, but also the infamous gloom days of June. And of course, the school year is comes to a close, then we’ll be back into the un-routine, routine with children! So yes, June a fascinating month ; )

Would you like to know about my must-have fashion piece? It goes from Summer into Fall… and then into Winter! I first laid my eyes on this piece as I hosted the Spring Into Style Fashion Show at Willowbrook Shopping Centre. It was a piece on the runway styled by local style expert Michelle Addison. It’s the Love Finn Vegan Leather Moto Vest from Plenty at Willowbrook Centre. Love Finn is a brand exclusive to Plenty, which is known for great styles at affordable prices. The vest is vegan with a slightly oversized fit. It can easily be transitioned from season to season because of it’s layering power. Think bandeaus, tanks, dresses, hoodies, etc. If you know me at all and have checked out previous Hot Lists you know faux leather is one my weaknesses. I’m seriously obsessed with this piece.
Wunderlust Backpack - Lululemon
Kids are going to be out of school and I will be lugging them around all over the place! What I need (with 3 littles of all different ages and demands) is a bag that I can do it all with. Not only is it about their needs, but mine as well. I want something that can do the part and play the part without looking like a diaper bag! Cariboo Brewing - Bevvies and Benches
Cariboo Brewing products are made in BC (Prince George to be exact) and have a pure spring water aquifer running under their brewery which they draw from, to make a full line of beers, as well as softdrinks like Root Beer and Ginger. Cariboo Brewing draws from local ingredients wherever possible and supports local events and athletes across BC. They are genuinely passionate about reforestation efforts across BC and Alberta as well. Partial proceeds from the sales of Cariboo products go towards reforestation projects wherever Cariboo Brewing products are sold.
The Cariboo Brewing bench is one of my absolute favourite items of the Summer! It is confirmed to be the game changer on your picnics and camping trips this Summer. The absolute highlight - make sure you have your name on it! #NotJoking
