It’s time to get that Summertime Glow!
It’s about that time – Summer! This is where you need to take a few deep breaths and prioritize yourself! Look for some of that summer healing. DRIVE
As a mom of three, I know that during the summer you need to find creative ways to keep your kids busy, and healthy, AND happy! The DRIVE Basketball camps are a no-brainer, for me. My kids love the camps, they get their exercise, make new friends, train, and stay off devices all day long. A major major bonus: they come home exhausted in the best way!
DRIVE began in 2004 when Pasha Bains and Chad Clifford brought together their shared dream to teach and help young basketball players achieve their goals. Both are former BC AAA High School MVP’s who went on to play NCAA Division 1 hoops before starting their own small basketball camps.
The goal of DRIVE was to create a successful basketball academy that provides different platforms for young people to improve.
DRIVE is also about helping the community through their ‘DRIVE Youth Basketball Foundation’. Their non-profit helps provide opportunities for youth in the community to participate in sport. The Foundation provides scholarships to underprivileged youth and high school athletes pursuing post-secondary education. They also sponsor community events and make annual donations to our local food banks. Now THAT definitely scores them extra points!
