Spring Staycation - Nira's Hot List - March 2020
Nira’s Hot List Contributed by Virgin Radio Morning Show Co-Host Nira Arora
March – the month commonly associated with Spring Break! Now that I have kids I find it to be quite a stressful month. They’re off school… so what do we do? Where do we go? How much vacation do we need to take off? What’s the budget? Are we doing a group thing? Well, this year I’ve decided that March will be the month to give YOURSELF a break! Time to relax, be present and give back… do a staycation. Keep it chill! Here are a few of my faves to help me get through my goal this month.
Shine Brighter Necklace - Brass and Unity
How about representing an amazing cause? That’s always calming for me – since it brings on the internal warm and fuzzies!
Brass and Unity is all about inspiring unity for all. Their goal is to make major positive changes in people’s lives. Brass and Unity helps to get prosthetics to those who have lost their limbs, help people who need service dogs, and they help homeless veterans get off the street.
If you’d like to be a part of this wonderful cause, the Shine Brighter Necklace is a beautiful addition to the Brass and Unity collection – a stand out piece!
Like all of their warrior bracelets, this piece starts with a REAL previously fired brass shell casing. Each casing is CNC machined with incredible precision and then is finished off by laser etching of their iconic logo onto the casing. Each Swarovski stone is added to one of their pre fired brass casings.
Rose Tulsi Beauty Tea – Bombay Beauty Co
I love tea – all different kinds. Tea always makes me happy! The Rose Tulsi Beauty Tea from Bombay Beauty Co. is a must for relaxation and beauty all in one! It’s a relaxing caffeine-free beauty tea designed with rose and tulsi that focuses on nourishing the skin from the inside with powerful antioxidants and vitamins. Handcrafted with organic rose petals to help hydrate and tighten the skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and dark circles with its rich source of vitamins A, C and E. Tulsi leaves (Indian Basil) are a powerful healing herb that has the reputation of stress release and boosting your immunity. This tea may also be helpful for various skin conditions including acne.
BioLumin-C Eye Serum – Dermalogica
I constantly feel as though I look tired and my eyes are usually the clear giveaway! It’s time to give the area around your eyes some major TLC so you can look and feel bright eyed these last few weeks of winter! BioLumin-C Eye Serum delivers Dermalogica’s ultra-stable Vitamin C complex where your skin needs it most, brightening and firming to address fine lines and wrinkles at their source.
In today’s fast-paced world, our eyes are working harder than ever before. We subject them to constant strain generated by our body’s fastest, most frequently-used muscles! Additionally, 1 in 3 adults don’t get enough sleep – contributing to eye fatigue and the appearance of dark circles. The BioLumin-C Eye Serum comes in a supercharged, lightweight formula to deliver a boost of brightness around the delicate eye area. If your eyes look awake and alive chances are, you will too!
ARTLINER - Lancôme
Need something quick and fast so you can head out the door looking fabulous? Try the Artliner by Lancôme. I noticed my girlfriend’s eyes looked amazing time and again. I finally asked her what she had on and she revealed it was Lancôme’s liquid Artliner. The best part is that is ALL she would be wearing along with a bit of mascara, of course!
This is the perfect product to create a winged eye look or intense lines. With a soft foam tip, Artliner precision point eyeliner helps you apply eyeliner with precision. The combination of their formula of rich colour pigments and clever technology makes every eye look last. I found all the different colours at London Drugs. I tested quite a few… and then of course left with quite a few! ;)
