Birthday Tablescape

There’s still no cure for the common birthday, but age is just a case of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter!

April 9th was my birthday and leading up to it, I was inspired to create a big girl birthday party table. I found this art piece I found at Homesense on clearance.

My husband Kyle treated me by flying my bestie in to celebrate my birthday and I thought it was giving brunch, sunshine and champagne vibes.

My bestie has a background in fashion and this set-up has a total fashion influence… after all, I used a vibrant, satiny scarf as a table runner… just pinched in like so to give it pizzazz.

If you see a vase you like, buy two… I say! I was gifted birthday flowers and anniversary flowers and they flanked the ends of the table.

Rules? No rules! Girls rule! So use whatever you like!

Bring in decor pieces, Tropical silk flower stems can be cut up and used in all kinds of ways - like slipped into napkins.

Twinkle lights make things sparkle… so I like to add them. Impressive candlesticks? Pomp and circumstance!

There are 336 days til my birthday again now, I felt totally spoiled and fortunate to have such a great time. After all, a proper birthday should last a month.
