Christmas Cheer In A Glass
Merry Everything, Fabulous Friend! Doesn't getting to Christmas in the year 2020 feel like a gift in and of itself? We have so much catching up to do, how I wish we COULD get together for a fireside chat, sipping on some yummy red and snacking from an epic charcuterie board. Wouldn't that be wonderful?!
Let's pretend… k? Through some extra special holiday blog magic, come inside for a festive visit. Let’s sit by the tree with this tasty cocktail. It literally tastes like Christmas cheer in a glass!
In our house, we call it ‘kid’s wine', but don't the let Martinelli's sparkling apple juice fool you. This drink will sneak up on you and getchya! Kind of like mistletoe! If you're sipping this, you really must stay. Plus, baby it's cold outside anyway!
Cheers to us, sweet friend!
CHRISTMAS CHEER IN A GLASS RECIPE
HOW I WHIPPED IT UP:
First, I split about a can of ginger ale between two tall glasses with ice. In a martini shaker, I added 2oz of red wine, 2oz of rum and a sprinkling of cinnamon to taste. Then I shook it, baby! Next I poured it, split between the glasses and finished with Martinelli's and a stir. Enjoy!
