My Easter Table
Decor tips and DIYs for your tablescape
It’s the time of year when we get to set the table with fresh, pretty decor to usher in Easter Sunday! Layer in pastel hues with a hint of whimsy to create a space that makes every bunny feel egg-stra special!
Let’s create a special spot for every bunny at the table...
Pom-poms are so much fun, they remind me of fluffy little bunny tails. This year, I decided to create a mini pom-pom wreath to sit at each place setting. With the added felt bunny ears and some floral
touches... what cuter way to add personality to each guest’s seat?
All you need are your trusty glue gun and some affordable craft supplies from The Dollar Store. The wreath form is a small gold craft ring. I love how the gold adds a pretty touch!
Bunny Ear Napkin Ring Glow-Up
Another fun idea is this glue free craft. All you need white felt, gold rings from the dollar store, this downloadable bunny ear pattern and scissors.
How Easy Was That?
In addition to making the mini plate wreath, you can use an even smaller sized ring and add a simple white felt tie to resemble bunny ears.
all about character
Thoughtful and unexpected details are what makes a table setting sweet and exciting. More is more! Shop your home for Easter characters to set the scene. An extra treat waiting on the plate is always fun. Theme napkins add cheer. This time of year, mini eggs make perfect table confetti!
When it comes to creating my tablescape, I just like to just have fun with it! One rule of thumb I keep in mind is that the word ‘knife’ kind of rhymes with ‘right’– and that’s the side of the plate it goes on! Other than that, the rules of tradition are out the window! I recommend that every hostess have some charger plates. These can be picked up at surprisingly good prices – especially on clearance after holidays.
